Working with a client yesterday, I was reminded that so many people come to counselling seeking guidance about their grief and “are they doing it right”.
Grief is a very personal experience with a unique set of emotions and feelings for everyone.
There are no written sets of regulations and rules surrounding how one should grieve.
Counselling can help you to:
• Open up about your thoughts and emotions without judgement
• Cope with stresses associated with the loss, through techniques such as relaxation or meditation
